gained three kg in three days back in sg..

gosh.. is food here really THAT good?

Its been cool so far.. caught up with loads of peepz thus far.. mambo nite heeee... and it just gets better..

everybody's still so farny and interesting, singapore's stupid humor rocks man..

caught transformers like everybody else.. 4.5/5.. best comic book adaptation thus far.. maybe its about time spider-man retired...

thanks zhen for helping us get S$50 hugo boss 100ml colognes.. u da best!!!

oh well.. tired.. tmr's bbq cancelled DAMMIT!!!!!! but its oh kay.. i'm meeting shaun (FINALLY AT LONG LAST!!!) and charles and kok for dinner and bowling (??).. heh hehz...

wow wad an awesome holiday.. just kicking back and relaxing.. no worries.. no cares.. just me and myself doing stuff i wanna do..

its wierd how people typically stereotype metalheads as crazy wierd human beings.. till they meet me, and find out its true.. =)

love me for who i am.. but don't dispise me for not being someone u want me to be, or think i should be..

just had this wierd thought.. I think "looks" is just such an overstatement in people's perception of it today.. being anything more than being presentable compromises your character and who you really are.. and i think its so true.. not that its wrong all the time, there are times when it is apropriate to look your best for the occasion, but just wanting to be well carried constantly all the time in the presence of strangers is just such a distraction.. i just hate feeling the need to being more than who i am for the sake of my image.. who i am, what i present, is what there is.. what i do, everything it signifies, is from my heart, no gimmicks, no tricks.. if i didn't want to do something for someone, then would i not do it? to do for the right reasons, for our principles, and not for the "show" should be our goal..

maybe thats why people turn rebellious, to stand for something society is fast against.. or maybe to stand with society against what they would call a "rebellion".. many a times i think to myself, Christ is not a fashion.. that doesn't mean we don't comform with each other in His name in various manners (e.g. fellowship, p&w) obviously, but that in itself can mean to stand against what the world believes in the fashion/concept of absolute "individuality" or "individualism", or maybe the want to become part of a "fashion" through religion, or maybe even to stand FOR avoiding falling away from our religious believes because of what the world believes religion to be, a weak dying excuse for living, with its principles fleeting away.. Dead useless human egos, esp so for guys.. such a bizarre issue.. i'm still searching for answers, nothing is set in stone yet.. totally random thoughts man... its 2am.. cut me some slack..

Looooong and tiring day.. Had a few things on my mind, but I have to ask for more grace and wisdom in my life..

Had several fresh revelations.. But otherwise a lousy studying day..

Had an awesome worship jamming discussion time.. Ambrose really hit the point, hope he felt the same way too..

AANNNnndddd... WILLL be getting my DW 5002AD3 soon!!!!!!!!! YEAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

In the next week or so.. heehee...

Time to slp its 5 am already.. sam stayed at my place till 2.30 just now to finish up his assignment, but absolutely no complains, just very happy i could be of use to someone.. seems the drummers bond is now pretty strong.. =) DRUMMERS OF HOPE UNITE!!!!!!

sometimes i feel my troubles and problems are nothing with God around.. Haa..

Though a problem i'll have tmr would be staying awake through 4hrs of lec and 3 hrs of tutes while getting only 4.5 hours of slp?!?!?!?!? ARGHHHH!!!

Awesome-ness..

Wad a great day.. just had a fantastic exam.. was pretty fun.. loved every minute of it..

Received my Arch enemy DVD in my mail today.. almost crapped my pants.. i bought it off ebay for A$17?!? How amazing is it? Its selling online without shipping costs for A$34!!!!

Anyways.. there has been so much going on nowadays.. But it's strange i feel absolutely in control of my direction in life and although things are all happening so fast, I seem to be able to cope better than ever!

Check this out.. a custom made snare drum by a guy called Paul Warry of Metro Drums.. I emailed him and he replied asking i would like to make an appointment to drop by his workshop.. Boy do i ever.. But i've not enough funds to facilitate all my spending.. thus i've decided to hold back for alittle while more..

SPeaking of which, I'd also like to own this cheap piece of guitar accessory.. Yes its pretty ordinary.. yes its not toooo versatile.. But also, yes its cheap and its worth its price.. Never the less i'd like to own it..

Also, my conquest of obtaining a DW 5002AD3 may soon be shattered, Ranking music in SG is selling it for like S$718?!?!? Ebay sells it for S$590 including shipping.. but strangly the person told me it only comes with a soft case.. Contrary to what the DW.com webpage advertises..

But..

Enough of the spending, i've got a hugh commitment in the upcoming year for my money.. So certain things would have to wait~

Anyways got Hundred Reasons' live DVD for 10 bucks today.. What a steal..

PLUS got my hands on machine head's latest with the DVD.. and also Silverchair's latest.. Also with a DVD..

And dream theater's SCORE double-dvd for 24 bucks!

now thats a steal... But spent 2 hours searching for a fan.. and yet couldn't find any..

But i'm tired now and i have an exam tmr that i need to study for..

how cool is that?!?!?!?!?

check nightrage out.. i reckon you've probably heard of them before, they've been having tons of airplay on local radio stations yer noe.. btw their smash hit #1 single is playing right now..

i wonder what makes metalcore such a trend? sure most are bad, but there are pretty awesome ones here and there.. like god forbid and all that remains, and possibly into eternity depending on how u genre-lise your music..

Oh kay.. so last week mars volta came.. and last week, they conquered.. big time..

Seriously, almost THE best live band ever.. the 8-piece live band were tight, awesome and absolutely insane, playing intricate melodies they just thought of 2 seconds ago, and somehow maganging to have all members improvising as if it had been practicing for hours..

Cool stuff huh..

Next gig would have been Dave matthews band, but they have been postponed, so i guess RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS NEXT!!! Oh yeah...

Enough about bands.. Oh plus i bought a crap load of DVDs to watch.. heh hehz...

Life is good.. Food's good.. School's good.. Just had an exam yesterday.. Cool...

Taking charge of a society's finances ain't an easy task.. I discovered, but no regrets in taking up the treasurer position in ccm though.. Love doing it, love the challenges i face..

Anyways.. school rocks.. and today's careers fair said it.. I mean, two years before i actually graduate i actually go for a careers fair?!?!?

Ok bored now.. buhbye..

I'll be heading to melb next next week for a whole week for relaxation!!!

Ok.

So i've enjoyed Christmas countdown at my sis's place, and NYE at Chijmes.

So i've met up wif tons of buddies.

So i've enjoyed shopping.

So i've enjoyed mambo nite.

So i've jammed my heart out.

So i've got my new spanking guitar.

So i didn't need to do time in Australia. (thank God)

So i've enjoyed a side-view Eric Clapton concert. (friggin awwweeeesoooomeeeeeeee)

So i've enjoyed Singapore.

But nothing beats last Tuesday.

Muse. Front row. Barrier view. Smack Center.

Best thing? Waited only 2 1/2 hours for such an awesome space.

How? We were lucky.

Just came back from Zouk.. Eatin Chicken cup noodles.. Shiock man..

Awesome fun.

Yea.. so the past week has been darn eventful... Besides getting my guitar and doing stuff.. i've been jamming quite abit...

Plus.. I've downgraded my PSP by myself!!! Yea... No more expensive games for me =)
(If you want i mean, if you don't then you don't wanna know..)

Yup and just the other day i went with some pals over to Jurong swimming complex.. HAHAHAHA... damn hilarious man.. but darn fun too... You guys are the best.. Maybe thats why i miss singapore so much.. Of course there is a certain apple pie that i miss too.. Haa...
